Natural Cowrie Shell Earrings

Bring a little coastal charm to your jewellery collection with these Natural Cowrie Shell Earrings, featuring genuine shells and warm gold detailing.

Each natural cowrie shell is individually hand-wired with 18K gold-plated copper wire, allowing the beautiful shape and creamy tones of the shell to remain the star of the design. Finished with gold-plated surgical steel ear hooks, they are lightweight and comfortable to wear.

These earrings are New Old Stock (NOS), sourced from the collection of a retired jewellery wholesaler. They have never been worn and are no longer in production, making them a wonderful find for anyone who loves genuine vintage jewellery with a story behind it.

With their relaxed bohemian feel and beautiful natural texture, they're perfect for summer days, beach holidays, festivals, resort wear and beach weddings, or simply adding a touch of coastal style to an everyday outfit.

Because genuine natural shells are used, each shell may have subtle variations in shape, colour and markings. These little differences are part of their natural beauty and make each pair unique.

Why Choose Genuine Vintage?

Choosing genuine vintage jewellery is a more sustainable way to accessorise. Rather than purchasing newly manufactured, mass-produced pieces, you're giving beautifully made jewellery that already exists its chance to finally be worn and enjoyed.

Buying vintage helps extend the life of existing pieces, reduces the demand for new production and keeps perfectly good jewellery out of landfill. And with limited quantities available, you're also choosing something a little more individual than today's fast-fashion accessories.

Once these NOS cowrie shell earrings are sold, they're gone for good unless I'm lucky enough to uncover more from the original vintage collection.
